About Us

ALMINIEH ASSOCIATION WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1978. Aliminieh is a coastal village situated in North Lebanon. Almost most of its members migrated to Australia in the early to mid 70s. They established the association to look after the welfare of its members. The members bought the first Association house in Punchbowl.

Most recently they bought their second community centre in Auburn. This was due to the expansion of the Alminieh family across Sydney. Some of the services provided include SOCIAL ACTIVITIES, MEDICAL SEMINARS, AND EARLY EDUCATION PROGRAMS FOR CHILDREN AND THE ELDERLY.

Other SERVICES INCLUDE HEALTH AWARENESS SEMINARS, AS WELL AS SKILL DEVELOPMENT SEMINARS FOR ADOLESCENTS WHILST PROVIDING AN INTERPRETER FOR NON-ENGLISH SPEAKING INDIVIDUALS.

Also, the association caters for certain religious activities during Ramadan and a meeting place for wakes and paying tribute to the deceased members of the community
